About us

welcome to Kay's Place Sober Living

Kay's Place isn't just a house - it's a home where women come to heal, grow, and rebuild their lives in sobriety. We provide more than just a structured, substance-free environment; we create a community of support, accountability, and empowerment where women can develop the skills and confidence needed for long-term recovery.

We understand that early recovery is a critical and vulnerable stage. Many women feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or even lost after leaving inpatient treatment or detox. At Kay's Place, we help bridge the gap between structured treatment and independent living, offering the stability and guidance necessary for sustained sobriety.

Our mission

Our Mission

how we achieve this mission

how we achieve this mission

At Kay's Place, our mission is simple but powerful:

  • To provide a stable, structured, and nurturing environment where women in recovery can regain control of their lives.
  • To empower each woman to become her best self through accountability, self-discipline, and emotional healing.
  • To equip women with the skills and confidence to transition from treatment to independent, sober living successfully.

We are committed to guiding, supporting, and uplifting women as they build lives rooted in sobriety, self-respect, and resilience.

  • Individualized Support: Every woman's journey is unique, and we tailor our guidance to meet her specific needs.
  • Structured Living: Our routines, rules, and expectations create a foundation for healthy habits.
  • Peer Accountability: Residents hold each other up, ensuring that no woman has to go through this journey alone.
  • Community Connection: We encourage involvement in 12-step meetings, outpatient programs, and service work.
  • Personal Growth & Healing: Sobriety isn't just about abstinence - it's about emotional, mental, and spiritual development.

What We Offer Women in Recovery

  • A safe and supportive environment free from drugs and alcohol
  • A structured daily routine that promotes personal growth and responsibility
  • A peer-driven community that fosters connection and healing
  • Life skills training to help women transition successfully into independent living
  • Encouragement to stay engaged in therapy, 12-step programs, and aftercare

Recovery isn't just about not using - it's about learning how to live again, and at Kay's Place, we help each woman do just that.

our vision

We envision a world where every woman in recovery has access to the support, tools, and encouragement she needs to thrive.

At Kay's Place, we aim to change the way sober living is viewed - not just as a place to stay, but as a transformational experience that prepares women for a healthy, self-sufficient life.

We dream of:

  • Expanding opportunities for women in recovery to gain education and employment.
  • Breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and sober living.
  • Creating lasting sisterhoods where women feel supported even after they leave Kay's Place.

Every woman who walks through our doors is more than just a resident - she's part of our family.

Our goal is to equip women with the tools they need to thrive beyond sober living, ensuring they leave Kay's Place ready to embrace a sober, fulfilling life.

How We Foster Personal Growth

At Kay's Place, we focus on more than just staying sober - we help women become the best version of themselves. True recovery involves healing not just the body but also the mind and spirit.

Here, women are encouraged to focus on personal growth, self-care, and rediscovering their passions.

What Personal Growth Looks Like at Kay's Place:

  • Self-Discovery Workshops: We encourage residents to explore their interests, strengths, and personal goals.
  • Emotional Resilience Training: Residents learn tools to handle stress, cope with challenges, and maintain emotional balance in sobriety.
  • Financial Independence & Budgeting: We provide guidance on money management, saving, and responsible financial habits.
  • Health & Wellness Practices: From nutritious eating to daily movement, we emphasize the importance of caring for the body in recovery.
  • Healthy Relationships & Boundaries: Learning how to build trusting, supportive relationships and say no to toxic influences is a key focus.

Recovery is about more than avoiding substances - it's about creating a life you're excited to wake up to. At Kay's Place, we help each woman find purpose, self-worth, and a clear vision for her future.

aftercare & continued support

Recovery doesn't stop when you leave Kay's Place - it's just the beginning of your new life.

Our goal is to set every woman up for long-term success, which is why we emphasize aftercare planning and continued support even after a resident moves on from our home. Transitioning out of sober living can be exciting but also intimidating, and we want to make sure that no one feels lost or alone when they take that next step.

How We Prepare Women for Life Beyond Kay's Place:

  • Transitional Planning: Residents work on goals for independent living, including securing stable housing and employment before leaving.
  • Connections to Alumni Support: Past residents can stay connected to our network of strong, sober women for encouragement and guidance.
  • Ongoing Recovery Meetings: We encourage continued involvement in 12-step programs, therapy, and community recovery groups.
  • Employment & Education Resources: We assist residents in finding jobs, continuing education, or vocational training.
  • Volunteering & Giving Back: Residents are encouraged to give back to the recovery community by mentoring others and staying involved in service work.

Leaving sober living doesn't mean leaving support behind. At Kay's Place, we help each woman build a lasting foundation for success and independence in sobriety.
